I just braught my 14bolt FF rear end home and i have the back cover off right now and i just wanted to know how i could find out if i have the factory locker in there or not?? Is it a Gov-loc? CUz im looking at the inside and cant tell whether i have it or not. Thanks

Look for little round spider gears.To see if its an oped diff

if you are a member i have a full pictoral thread in the tech section on 14ff rears. with lots of pics. lots to tell with no pics. best to just look at the pics.

and pay up now cause you will be hear lots in the futer and you will pay now or later. best to get it over with now.

In most rearends there is the carrier and some spidergears.This A pic of a blown apart 14BFF the little gears that are in half are the spider gears.

also you need the open to install a detroit locker. 1/2 the battle is done now.
