This was what happened when I decided to replace my rotten tail pan...
My neighbors were not very happy...
I ended up doing disk brakes, 5.13's, front spool, 35 spline outers, h1 bead locks, relocated gas tank, pickup cab, hydraulic assist, cross over, swapped to an SM465, 52" front springs, etc. etc.

Dang, that stinks, your rig is awesome and deserves better. I hope you don't end up parting it, it'd be a real shame. I'd snatch it in a second if funds were available right now. Have you even gotten to wheel it much since you finished it?

Been hiding over with the dark crowd at the Jeep forums but had a few calls after Blazer Bash that the "bucket" had been out there with its' new owner. Has anyone spotted the K5 since then?
I've got a new Jeep project going now and really miss the K5 but the government has been keeping me busy enough lately that I haven't got much work done anyways. Atleast I have some memebers in the club with K5's that I can wrench on.
Current project is a cage for the TJ if anyone has some Bend Tech files they want to share it would be appreciated.
I am converting over the Pro Tools 105 to air over hydro for this project with a kit from Copperhead Fab, they are local to me and have been very generous on cutting custom parts out for numerous projects of mine. Vehicles can always be replaced. It does make me sad, but hey I started a new project. I needed something that could still be used on the street at times.
Jim I don't think I am too fond of those tires. Not sure yet. Still have to get drivelines. Don't know why everyone hates my Thornbirds
Talked with HAD today and they said $1036.00 for front a rear shaft. 1350 joints cv front and rear. New 1350 yoke for Dana 60 and the 1350 will bolt to the factory 205 front output. New rear output for the 205 to accept the other 1350 cv and I use my stock 1350 strap style on the rear.
I would like to talk with Toms and see his otions also.
I got the 8274 filled with oil, installed on the finished mount and wired up. It was tough doing the welding with one eye but it all came through. Added a simple toggle switch on the temporary dash. I will be redoing all the electrical and dash with the cage install.
I also ordered up some synthetic cable from Rockstomper, a fairlead and saftey hook.

Can anyone tell me if the 11.00R20 Micheline XLZ is still in production? I know there are a bunch of used ones from Army Surplus places so please don't post links just curious if anyone knows if Micheline still produces that size?

I know an engineer at Michelin, he said they do not. they have the 14.00r20, the 16.00r20 and 395/85r20...thats it for the 20" rims.
