How did you mount your Windstar fan? Pics would be GREAT!

I feel silly posting my stuff on occasion... I'm highly doubting anyones gonna build something similar to that due to materials, time, whatever.... But hopefully it'll spark some ideas..

i do metal fabrication for a living so i look forward to the pics you post

Dont feel that way , we LOVE to see your stuff!! You should be proud of it!

Does it matter where you run the ground wire to? As long as its a good solid spot, like to the inner fender?

You'd be better off putting it right to the rad support, where the h-light grds, etc all meet...

as for years... iirc, 95 is the first year of the windstar fans.....

Damn Paul I am still way jealous of that shroud you built, hopefully I can get mine made up pretty soon.

On my fans the plastic is really brittle and cracked when I cut off sections.

I am trying to find out a way now to mount mine in the cucv since it has the oil cooler lines running right across the middle of the radiator, also where the nose of the fans are located when in place... I am thinking of trimming the fans out of the windstar shroud, and using a thin sheet of stainless steel to mount them to, that way I can trim here and there and do what I want with it. Or I could just reroute my cooler lines... Im thinking ss for the bling factor, but rerouting the oil cooler lines would be cheaper... hmm decisions decisions. any ideas??
