Ok... I bought a core tranny and was told that it was bolted to a 205. It has no adapter on it. I have a th350/np205 that I am currently running.

So, How do I tell if the core tranny will bolt (has the correct shaft?) to the 205/adapter?

Thanks

As long as the th350 was a 4x4 it will be the same. All th350 had a 27 spline male output and the same bolt pattern on the rear flange. To ID your th350 as a 4x4 measure your output shaft. I'm not sure on the exact length but a 4x4 th350 should stick out a little more than an inch from the rear flange. A 2x4 output shaft should stick out 6" or more.
