How do the shirts run?

I have a lot of XL shirts and many 2XL shirts. Mainly for the length. I can't stand short shirts with tiny sleeves. But I also hate HUGE neck holes

Just wondering what size I should be ordering

Last year mine shrank quite a bit in the washer and I've had a few others comment on the same. I'm hoping this year we can get a shirt that doesn't do that. Other than that I haven't noticed the shirts fitting oddly. They typically seem to be Gildan shirts. You should probably to 2XL to be safe.
