Keep in mind 88-98 has a serious transmission, motor, and interior split all in different years lol

Plus don't forget that's just 1/2 tons. You could get the "88-98" body style up through '00 in a 3/4 or 1 ton and you could get it up through as late as '01-'02 (from what I've seen) in a 3500HD I beam work truck.
What did GM do? Hire someone from Ford to design all this?

Lol 91 I believe it was was the change from TH400 to 4L80E and from sm465 to NV4500.
Then theres the 6.2 to 6.5 change which I dont remember what year it was.
95 was the updated interior.
96 was tbi to vortec.
