Hey guys,
This the first estimate I got on redoing my engine. I plan on getting more, but how do these compare? They are a reputable shop in the area which also build a lot of local race motors /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
Hot tank parts: 25
Magnaflux parts: 18
Install cam bearings/freeze plugs: 25
Bore and hone cylinders .030: 112
Grind crank: 72
True rods: 72
Press in wrist pins: 38
Machine heads for S/S spring kit, install hardened seats, 3 angle grind: ~200
Anything I'm forgetting to add to my est? Thanks for any help.
