I'm thinking about getting one of the Fasttrac models that are avaliable on this site, and was wondering from those who own one, how long you have had it, how durable, leak proof it is etc., and whether or not you think it is worth it.

Totaly worth it. Being able to drive around with no top and still have the security of a soft top in case it rains is a freedom i will not soon give up. My only regret is that
i will have to sell my current one (cab cover / tannue cover) for the other kind becuase i'm putting in a full family cage. A little searching will show you that the tannue cover has a place for water to leak in but if you know how to deal with it it's a non-issue.

As NH would say: Live free or die :thumb:

Ill be picking one up very soon. Love have the top off and the decreased weight but does rain a couple of times a year here in AZ.

I have the fasttrac 3 window (without the corner windows) and it has been one of the best mods I have done. It's been scraped with mesquite trees, had golf ball size hail nail it and had about 5 inches of snow on it and still looks as good as the day I got it in the mail over a year ago.

How do they hold up to trees on the trail? I'm trying to convince the wife to do a soft-shell for the pickup and removing the rear window but she's not convinced it'd hold up to trees very well.

It's OK, better than a hard top. But then again I have the soft top and it's a pain in the ass to get on and off, install was a pain too.

I have had mine for over 2 yrs and it looks as good as new love being able to take the sides and back off without rolling it up :D

What top do you have? The Fasttrac was a less than 2 hr install and I can lay the top down in less than 5 min and remove it completely in less than 10.

Sorry, it's the snap top. The fasttrack looks a lot easier both on install and use, but the snap came with the truck along with a bad initial install which I had to redo.

Still, way better than the hard top.

love mine

I have a top from best top and I'll probbaly never put the hard one on again it is so airy and the docktari mode{sides rolled up} is the bomb. as far as wetness I think it leaks LESS than the hard top. :D :D

does it have the ability to be like a canopy?

does it all come off completely like the way the soft top would come off?

hey b-to-c how much do you want for the cab cover tanau combo cover i have been wanting one of those for a while bu they dont make them any more, what color is it?

I have the fastrac that was purchased from this site. It does a great job. Deffinitely a lot better then removing a hard top every other day. Construction was ok, I have had to repair one of the windows a few months after I got it, teh adhesive came loose.

During a normal shower it does not leak but if it pours rain then I will have a puddle sitting in my floor the next morning. I have my amp and cd changer mounted under my front seats and have had to install 1" spacers under them to keep the water from ruining them.

Overall I would recommend it just for ease of use.

Here are a couple pics of it:
