350/208 has two, one on each side of the motor bolted to the motor-mounts that bolt to the dust cover, and one that goes from the right side bellhousing to the transfer case.
I have not found this to be true,sweetk30 said:203 and 205 were to the frames most of the time. and 208 was to the bellhousing with a rod.
.
Now I'm curious if GM still has one available for my 400/208 combo. I'm going to call and find out. Thanks for the idea.1-ton said:The bracket for my 1985 K30 (205/400 combination) is still available from GM for $30 (GM part # 14020856),

The bracket was removed on my 1985 K30 because of a custom dual exhaust system, which runs down the side of the transfer case. The one on my 1991 V3500 was removed because the engine was replaced, and the people that did the engine R&R where too lazy to put it back on, so they tossed it in the trash probably.
The bracket for my 1985 K30 (205/400 combination) is still available from GM for $30 (GM part # 14020856), but the one for my 1991 V3500 (205/4L80E combination) has been discontinued. What sucks about that is...1991 was the only year the 205/4L80E combination was offered (thanks to NVRENUF for that info), so it will be virtually impossible to find one in a junk yard; thus I will have to make one out of the bracket that is still available for my older 1985 K30.

Or is that just a story put about by the company that makes them!! j/k![]()
