how many miles do you guys have on your trucks???

did yall here about the guy in Fl that was a paper man and had over 800k on his truck. chevy found out about it and gave him any chevy he wanted i forgot what he picked out. But 800k on a gas is insane

208k on it right now. Original tranny was rebuilt at 135k and motor was replaced at 201k and then top end was redone at 203k when I wasnt happy with the first build. The stock motor still would start and run fine but ate a quart of oil every 100 miles.

220K on the original 305. A new engine isn't really in the budget, but I secretly wish it would die so I would have an excuse to go bigger.... but it won't. Uses about 1/2 a quart of oil every 3000 miles. For a while I thought she had a nasty rear main leak and she started to run low oil pressure....but it was just a bad pressure sender. $15 sender and she was back to behaving like a truck half her age.

333,865 on my 86 k5 blazer ... my 87 motor has like 2 grand the truck like 200,000 something tranny has like 6,000 on it rear end is being replaced today .... :D i got a 14 bolt finally :)

I will hit 100k within the next couple weeks on my 91 Burb. I got it last Dec from the original owner with 89k. He hardly drove it but for me it is my dd. It runs perfectly, no leaks, no smoke. I plan on keeping it forever and I am obsessed with maintenance. I work as a Service Advisor at a Nissan dealership so I have done every maintenance service you can do to it. I also change the oil every 2000 miles since I don't have to do it and it costs me like 7 bucks.:D

My odometer says 3565 miles righ now, and when I got it it said 2378 miles. And I daily drive my truck since I bought it almost 3 years ago. :eek1::bow:

Well I should probably tell you that the speedo cable wasn't hooked up when I got the truck because the one in there was for a 2wd truck. So I got a new cable and only drove it 1187 miles then the speedo cable melted on the exhaust. So I have a new cable waiting for me in the garage with a heat shield :wink1:

But most likely the actual milage is somewhere around 150,000 or more. The engine isn't original either so I have no idea how many miles are on it.

326,xxx on my trail truck and the tranny just went last week, p.o said it was original and had never been pulled, his dad bought it brand new from chevy and replaced the motor 2x over the years. When i bought it, the motor was siezed. The motor i swapped only has 150,xxx. I swapped it from a working 74 3/4 ton i bought for parts and still runs on leaded gas.

210K on my 93 C1500 that i bought in '00, never had the valve covers pulled.
went to 190K on my K1500 before it grenaded the 10 bolt.

my 92 C1500 i have now has 156K? on it, and the C2500 is up to 128K now.
bought a '77 C20 a few years back with records proving 300K, looked pretty unmolested, leaky and rusty, but unmolested. ended up stripping it of its motor and trans, selling the body to one friend, and trading the motor and trans to another friend. the friend with the motor and trans ended up with the truck, put the motor and trans back in it, and ran it in a demolition derby. took first with it too. that old 350 still runs like a top, and has become his primary derby engine.

everything else i have had has been molested so bad (a couple 4.1 trucks with 350s in them, 4.3 trucks with 350s in them, etc) that there's no telling what the milage was.

Man you guys make me feel like mine is almost new! Gives me a warm feeling and hope that mine will last another 100,000 miles. Well mine is a 1987 from North Dakota and was a government truck. I have 110,000 miles on her and only needs tires and fresh paint :D Only parts replaced was hood (dent in center line from a gate) and front fenders because they were rusted on surface over wheel wells. GM parts used to replace. :p:

I sold my 87 K5 last year at 101k, bought it 2 years ago with 89k on the ticker :eek1:

My 89 K5 currently has 132k on it, still running strong on original running gear.

My 78 K5 has 120k+ but the motor and tranny are out and it's getting ready to be disassembled.

Had a 95 T10 that finally blew a transmission at 175k

No idea how many miles were on my 74 K5, only had that truck a week and it didn't run :D

My 90 has 208k with about 35k on crate motor and just rebuilt trans a month ago with a broke sun gear basket....
