Georgia bounty runners..... Mostly married people with kids... I like it. there is a younger group inside the club that I really enjoy being with. they put up with me breaking SH!t and rolling beads... then help fix it and on we go. There are politics in clubs....any time you have some people with more responsibility ( power ) than others there will be politics.....The problem I see with most people is they just bitch about what is happening and dont help find a solution. If your gonna bitch about what someone else is trying to do, you should have a better solution.

just my two cents

It's really very sad. Plus the greenies are so deeply embedded in local politics or the local politicians pockets it's EXTREMELY difficult to make any head way.

Most states don't even want to listen if you try to talk about a state run OHV area, or sticker program, or increasing state revenue. Sadly most of these types of ventures would be mostly self supporting if you include money from the federally sponsered Recreational Trails Program.

It's a challange to get people from outside the North East region to understand the scope of battle we have.

There is a house for sale down the block. It takes exactly 4 minutes to get to the desert where you can play till your hearts content. Don't let people fool you it does get cold here, I had to actually wear my long sleeve shirt yesterday morning:wink1:

One thing my club does is on our online forum we set up forums for events or discussions and make them known but don't give access unless someone asks to be part of that process/event. For instance recently their was a holiday party forum that was limited to those that asked to help with the party. keeps the ones that just want to run their mouths out and allows those that have a creative idea and goal in mind a chance to help out.

I'm in Texas A&M Off Road and love it. Obviously its mostly college students. There isnt a single person in our club I dont like and we have around 130 members. We just had our big end of semester run where we prety much took over Clayton, Oklahoma, but thats a story for another thread :D .

Wow a 130 members!!! That sounds like fun. Of course a trail ride would take 3 days to make a 3 mile trail lol

I wheel with a bunch of family and friends.

We call ourselves TRAILHAWGZ.

Does CK5 count as a club?

If so I am a member of that too.

Michigan Tech Fourwheelers, been around since 1975. http://www.mtu4x4.org/ The membership fluctuates year to year depending on how many people want to pay and the fact that it's a college club. Right now there are around 60 paid members and another 50 or so unpaid members... and thousands of alumni scattered all across the US and Canada. Last year we had a competitor in the Real Truck Club Challenge.

I just incorporated our club The 4x4 Syndicate so we can join the Midwest association of 4wheel drive clubs. We are not officially a club yet and are 10 strong...
