How many of you would....

Awesome responses, guys.... I always knew I could count on this group for entertainment and a light-hearted perspective on things!:haha: :haha: :haha:

I'm still quite a few number of months away from even thinking about a beater purchase, but....ideas are flowin'! Honestly, though, they're flowing because of a desire to have something different than what I've always had - and I've always had a fullsize rig squeezing through the trial. Granted, I never minded it, nor do I still mind it, but I have a desire for something different. :usaflag:

I think you'd be time and money ahead to start with a Blazer or K30, unless the trails are really tight where you're at. Then I'd have to tube out said Blazer or K30. Or put an S10 cab on it- preferably one of the newer crew cabs, exo'd of course. If a fullsize is out of the question, then a Toyota truck or Runner with a SBC/ TH350/ Toy case(s), and 3/4 or 1 ton axles using the Sky manufacturing SFA kit. Probably with nitrous.

You have a trail rig. Get it home and get to work. Just a little assembly!!

This is true.... But, that's more of a project than I can undertake at this stage of my life - I know this now:rolleyes:. I should have the bed sold, but as for the cab, it'll most likely be cut up into bite-sized pieces when I come back down, and taken in with the help of your trailer. I have to get the garage cleared out, and packed up - that just can't come with me. Like you, Rob, and I talked about before: My next project will be driven in the garage, SAS'ed if needed, or simply lifted and locked , and driven back outta the garage! No more of these total, complete, bare frame builds for quite a while.
