How many qts to refill a trans

depends on the deepness of the pan.i would say it would take 5 qts for most tranys.but that will not refill the torque converter.that holds a good 3-5 qts also i believe.if you are doing it make sure to change the filter also.you need a new gasket aND IT COMES WITH THE NEW FILTER.

I know,but thanks for the reminder.I bought that stuff months ago.Its a regular pan,BUT with a drain plug so I`ll go with 6.I just didnt want to under or over buy ATF.But I aslo want 1 spare bottle for the trunk ya know? And Its expensive now days.
