I'm considering putting my 33" Kumho's on some 15x10 chrome blade wheels for the summer. I like the looks of these rims from the pictures that I've seen.

Just wondering what specs I should order. I suppose if I was smart, I'd wait, should I decide to upgrade to 8-lug axles..:doah: but that may not be the case as I'm trying to stay stock-ish... trying... :screwy:

Anyway, here are my leads thus far in my search for rims:
Summit $77.88
LMC $119.95

Any other tips/suggestions?

Here's the pick I found in the garage that led me on this search:

I know, but I'm doing the switch around for winter tires. So rather than not have rims for my 33s, I'd have them mounted on these for next summer :D

Plus they'd make a great christmas present :thumb:

allo? Would 4" or 4.5" of backspacing be the correct answer? I'm not lifting the truck. I would definitely go big (15x10) so they stick out of the fenderwells nice.

Or am I out to lunch and would rub the **** out of my fenders/draglink, etc.?

personally i think a 10" wide rim is too wide, especially if you're going to run any of those tires you mentioned in the other post, i think i remember you saying you didn't like the 12.5 wide tire in the winter driving? that's about the minimum width tire i would run on a 10" wide rim, anything narrower and it's gonna look like something that was brought up from south of the US border
and if i remember, i think the 4.5" backspacing is pretty stock for these trucks.

i'd stick with an 8" wide wheel, but that's my opinion :D

i have a 15x10 with 4 inches of back spacing and the tie rod rubs on the inside wheel wieghts but it does stick out side the fender well alot

Those tires in the other post are for my stock 15x7 rims for winter. These rims would be for the kumho 33x12.50 R15s and I would run them in the spring, summer and fall. I want the beefy look for these rims so thats why I'm saying 15x10.

i'm going to suggest you run a 15x8 then, and run a backspacing of about 3.5"

I had a set of black steelies on my Burb for awhile with that 3.5" backspacing, and it kicked them out just a hair and did give the truck a more rugged, meaner look. I even got compliments on the look of the truck several times.

Now i have the 2nd gen design H2 wheels, 17x8 with i believe about a 5.25" backspacing, it just looks like a custom wheel (pretty) setup now. Still the same width tire, but they don't stick out as far.

Thinking of putting some spacers on them to kick them out a tad. :tongue1:

my 15x8s have 3.75" back spacing with some room for tie rod clearance behind them, not much though. If you are dead set on 15x10 then look for 3.75" bs, otherwise go with 15x8 with 3.75" bs for a much better look and fit.

Here's what 15x8 looks like...

And they don't stick out beyond the fender.

when i had the 3.5" backspacing, during a turn and stuffing the front tire, somewhat, it started rubbing the lower rear corner of the fender, but with these 5.25" backspaced wheels, it doesn't even come close now.

It is however really close to my tierod though

Did you order the wheels yet?

Thats my dads truck, I can get more pic if you would like

I'm pretty sure they 16x8 with 4.5" bs but I can ask to make sure

Nope, haven't ordered anything yet. I really like those Weld rims but haven't had much luck finding any. That would be awesome if you'd take some more pics. Your dad's truck is very nice. My K5 is the same colour and used to have the same trim. I would love it to look like that and sport a 502
