anybody here on a friday night ? going tommorow to pick up 5 hummer rims with tires and run flats . id like to take the old ladys ranger to pick them up but its almost a 2 hour drive , im worried about the weight theres 5 of them and this guy says he thinks they weigh around 175 lbs each . ( seems like a high estimate but ya never know ) anyway what is the weight ?any stories ? i know ive carried 44s on alum. rims (4) for about an hour in that little ranger and we do have a warantee,

really sombody has to know , or be able to work the search a whole lot better than me:D alot of beer has me tired and wondering

Well, the 12 bolts are a lot heavier than the 8 bolt H1's. But I don't know th eweight. If I had to guess the 8 bolts are about 100 lbs. each, maybe a little over. I think 165 is a bit high. The 12's are heavier due to the rubber runflats.

i swear in the last day or 2 someone talked about how much they weighed when someone put their new tires on. But i cant' find it fo the life of me!

A 12 bolt rim weighs in at 43 pounds.

Runflats can be rubber or magnesium. I don't know the weight.

The total weight is probably somewhere on eBay though:D

I would say he is right. Those suckers are heavy. 100-150 seems right. My skinny butt in the Corps had to change them as part of the maintaince cycle every 3 months, They are heavy. My 33s on steel rims weigh almost 80 lbs.

I just bought four 8-bolt hummer wheels (36" bias tires with runflats). The total shippingweight was 500 pounds.

So roughly 125 for the 8 blts. That sounds about right. When I bought my 8 bolt H1's, my buddy bought some 12's at the same time. We rode together to pick them up, and in the loading/unloading , you could really tell the 12's were MUCH heavier than the 8 bolts. (both had runflats, mine were mags, and his the rubber)
