I am thinking about picking this range box up for a doubler setup.
I have a 71 blazer, 350, TH350, 205.
THis is just the range box, he already disassembled it. It was behind a th350
Does it look complete?
Will my TH350-205 adapter work between the TH350 and the 203 range box? Or do I need the one for the 203?
The doubler adapters go between the 203 and 205 right?

AND last what would be a fair offer for it if it will work and has what I need?

You need the one for the '203, since you'll be mounting the '203's range box to the transmission.

Yep. Also note at least the ORD variety wants a TH400-style '205, so you'll need to change the input shaft on yours. (There may be other tweaks/changing required, depending on whose doubler you use, what style of foot you have, phase of the moon, etc.)

I've sold two 203's, intact pulls but without adapter or crossmember, for fifty bucks a pop. YMMV.

I don't think you should pay more than $50 for it but if your area is dry and you can't find one for that much maybe $75.
As for the adapter it's specific to the 203 but those ae plentyfull, and cheap.
I have a couple here I would sell for $25 plus shipping each.

I'm gonna have to take you up on that in a month or so

From that picture it seems everything is there that you need from the 203.

You will need the th350-203 adapter we have good used ones.

As for paying for a 203 range box core, i would say no more than $50

Check out our instructions to double check everything you need is there. http://www.northwestfab.com/203-205adaptorinstall.html

I wouldnt pay a dime over $50 if even that.

Hell, if I had any 203 junk left that wasnt in a truck I would give it away.

up here in the north east these are hard to find now . all rusted out and gone rigs.

also as said need tcase adaptor. and if 32 spline swap on tcase it will require the input bearing bore out for bigger bearing on 32 spline input.

and if that range box is the guy i think it is . . . . he has 2 adaptors if i recall correctly.

I paid $20 for my complete 203. Remember there useless to everyone else. When you get there pull out the shaft with the gear on it and see how all the gears look inside. Espescially the small teeth on the backside of the input gear, the shift ring, and the main gear. If they don't look good don't buy. They will have some usual wear but if there rounded to a bad ball, pass on it.

I paid $40 for a complete 203 from behind a TH350, and $150 for a divorced Ford range box, but part of that was shipping from California.
