How much front driveshaft slip?

I'm planning to just go with 1310. I too will be pushing up around 30 degrees. My thinking is that stuff is more likely to break from exceeding the angle limits than from raw torque. 1310 can go up to 35 degrees. Also, to fit 1350s, I'd have to clearance the crossmember in front of the T-case. I'd also have to change the yoke at the D60.

CUCV 60's are the same as civilian units, 1310 yokes.

Interesting, I've owned or touched quite a few CUCV 60's and all were 1310.

35 degrees is the cv stuff.. you can grind it some more but I don't think I would trust it past much more than that.

I will go and measure again, but I am almost certain it is 1350. My axles came with the 14bff 4.56 Detroit rear, Dana 60 4.56 trac lock front. I know for fact the rear is 1350 as I ordered a driveshaft for it.

My axles are from CUCV, 1350 rear and 1310 front. But no locker of any kind in front, so maybe that's indicative of something.

you guys are killing me. I had to go dive under my truck to prove to myself I wasn't going crazy.

no, I did not so, that could be the difference. I was under the impression that some came with 1350. Guess I got lucky

Has anyone looked into 1410 with a flange instead of yoke?

It appears you can hit 37 degrees with that becasue the yoke ears dont get in the way.

I have this set up on my rear 42 degree CV driveshaft. It's not for angle though, just part of the driveshaft assembly I bought from a parted buggy. Pretty cool parts.
