How much is my 6.5TD worth?

Thinking about selling the 6.5TD out of my 97 and replacing it with a Duramax I have a line on. How much is it worth? Complete with wiring and PCM, 120,000 miles, brand new GM injection pump, regular maintenance, runs very well. How about the 4L80E? Original trans, works fine. I was thinking I need to sell engine, trans, and transfer case for about $1500.00 total to make the deal worthwhile. What do you guys think?

I think that $1500 would be a great deal for someone...smokin deal actually. Shite...sell the whole shebang to Grim Reaper, it'd be the perfect drivetrain for Dollar.

There's a place near Houston that sells them at $2650 for a rebuilt one, not including the turbo. Maybe that'll give you an idea.... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
