How much play should the rear output on a 205 have?

I think I found my vib problem but need some info.

I get a very bad grinding noise from right under my butt so I think its definately the TC. It only happens at speed when I let off the gas. I tightened down the rear output yoke and I can move the output in and out about 1/2" is this normal

When I read that you had the 205 grind I was going to suggest that you probably need a cv rear driveshaft. IIRC, the output on a 205 shouldn't have any play. That sounds like your problem to me.
