im guessing 150 at the wheels, if im lucky.

im hoping for 300 at the flywheel when it gets rebuilt.

[/ QUOTE ]I would guess less than that probably. My 350 only put out 120HP to the ground and I had dual exhaust with no cats and a K&N filter at the time...

actually GM HEAVILY underrated their crate engines. you got a 260/350 i'm guessing. I do too. Realistically it's more like 280/400. the old model had a claimed 180/220 but was dynoed at 236hp and something like 280tq.

what year was your 350?if it was an 86 or older they were rated between 160 and 185.

around 225 horse and 250 ft lbs at the crank. enough to spin em both on a straight takeoff. oh and that sound /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gifsounds like its staight piped at full tilt above 2000. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif dont even have to tip the throttle any up a moderate grade. nice.

Yea they have it was in quite a few hotrod mags and on hp tv or one of them shows on tnn/spike. i do know it was higher then what they claimed. i think it was like 540hp and rated at 502. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

desktop dyno claims 430/465... actual dyno showed 410/425 out of the 350 sitting on my garage floor.

the GM crate motor I am running now is 330/380 per GM /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif enough for my mall-rated panty dropper.
