how much rust do you have?

ehhe, lets see...

all floors front and rear, rockers inner and outer, front cab mounts, rear inner wheel wells, drivers side bed top, behind the cab both sides, replaced the whole front clip and doors, repairs on the sides of the firewall, windshield bottom, repairs to a & b pillers, and am in the process of putting a whole new roof section on, couldn't see fabbing that many lips and curves, lol... About the only things original left are the trans tunnel, most of the bedsides and firewall, and, and, well that's about it... Frame was fine... still got a couple of months of :weld: :grind: :weld: :grind: left...

Why? dunno, just love this old beast... Should have just done what b_to_c did... lol... Wife says she'll dig a pit out back and bury me in the truck when I die...

Haha. my blazer looked like the one from indiana too.. Kinda funny i only live 10 to 15 minutes from that guy.. I wish i could put pictures on here not sure how too. I only had to cut 1 body mount bolt to take everything off... I hate indiana winters and the salt...

i had so much rust you could open the door and walk behind the steering wheel. no rocker panels. :haha: never used lmc's stuff.i just got a cab from TEXAS, rust free.

My 79 burb looks about like your truck BtoC. only the drivers side rear fender is rotted pretty bad. and the doors are rotting out..but i live in the rust belt.

speakin of floors..i got a sheet of steel, and with some shears and a hammer and pliers, and a crappy little flux welder...i replaced the whole drivers side floor..and it came out damn good too...just takes motivation and a little time.
