How much will this actually sell for???

Just based on the CL pics it looks pretty much fully restored. If the engine is as clean as the rest of it and it's reliable I think it could sell for $15-20k if you found the right buyer with money to burn. I think it could pretty easily sell for $10-12k. I don't know why you guys are thinking $3-8k? That seems really low to me.

I'm totally with you and the way you are thinking!
15 to 20 where I'm from... and Round eyes rule!!

12-14k here in CA on a good day. If it was a full vert 75 or older you could add 5k to it. I see too many issues with it based on cl pics which would only compound if it was looked over in person.

Be interesting to see what that goes for. It's not perfect but someone has spent some time on it. And just because a truck is from AZ doesn't mean it's rust free. I've had a couple of rust patches in my truck to repair and still have at least 1 more to go.

And quit taking our 'mostly' rust free trucks... lol:haha:

It would go for 10 to 15k around here.

He's smoking crack at 34k, but you guys are lowballing at 6-8k. At least for where I live. 6-8 k gets you a good runner with a straightish body and good maintenance, but no real restoration work.

I'd say 10-12. 15-20 to the right guy with the right money. But they don't
Generally get that much unless they are perfect and stock condition

As a K5 expert you are too picky Martin. We are talking general public here, not your tight ass :rotfl:

If 6-8k is what your economy supports, then that's good if you're a buyer. Down here, 73-87s don't stay for sale for very long if they're close to decent. I get offered five figures for mine regularly. Not that I'd sell it.

I've looked at all the pics, and what I see is an almost perfectly rust free AZ truck that's been gone through. I'm gonna guess it was sold to these asshats as a stock height K5, and these guys installed a 4" lift, new tires and rims, and spritzed the underside with "scumbag black". It's probably a $10-12K truck...the hurts to price are the bumper, grill, and it's a '79 not a 73-75. Nothing wrong with a 79, but there is no rarity at all as it was the year with the highest production numbers.
