How tall are the various 36X12.5 TSL, TSL Radial, and TSL SX's when actually mounted on a 10" wide rim?

I know Interco is famous for "over estimating" the actual tire height./forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

I have never heard about Interco "over estimating" on their tire size. I have heard that they are the closest to the "Nominal" size of any manufacturer. My 36x12.5 15 TSL's were just the size they were stated on www.Intercotire.com. 35.75x13.5...smaller in diameter by .25" (very little IMO) and actually wider than stated on the sidewall by 1".

Hmmmmm............sounds good guys. I've heard from people that their Swampers were a noticeable amount shorter than advertised. Buddy of mine just got some 38/13/16 TSL's and mounted on a 16x8 they actually measure like 37.1" and 11.5". Guess the 36's aren't like that. Now I just have to decide on what flavor 36x12.5R16.5 I want./forums/images/icons/cool.gif

Anybody else?

My swamper radials actually seem like a very tall 36". I haven't actually measured them (I'm at work), but keep in mind that vehicle weight and tire pressure also have alot to do with mounted tire height.

I'd lilke to know too.

As meny members as we have here, I'm a bit shocked that we don't have a "list" of some-sort, as this question, or something like it, gets asked often. (I asked the same question a mounth or so-ago, and had some great in-put, but would like to see more!)

Tacoma, the wider the rim the shorter the tire will be. Take an inflated balloon and squeeze it. The ends not covered by your hand expand outwards. Works the same way with tires and rims. Not talking any big difference here. No more than a 1/4" or so between a 16x8 or 16x10.
