How tall?

We have a 7' door. The old blazer was on 39.5's and 6" or so of lift and needed to be aired down, it was roughly 7'4" I think (could be wrong).

Push the front axle as far forward as you can, and take some of the lift out. Otherwise you'll never have a chance. That's why I built my new one as short as it is...so it can fit in the garage at fire road pressure.

7'7" with 44 boggers, I have 4" lift superlift 56" springs front and rear. shackle flip rear, and 7.25 front shackle in the stock hole up front.

My front axle is moved 4" forward.

It's good to have a 12' garage door.

my jimmy sits 7'6" on 44s just have a 8" lift on it right now.

got any pics? what year? I can trim 4" with the light bar and body lift, but that still leaves me at 8' 1" on 8" springs.

is your truck an RC car?:D 12 inches is a small door.

My friend built a new garage with three 10 ft doors, one 15ft door and a 8ft door on the back side for his lawnmower. even his small door is bigger then mine. He can drive a backhoe into the big door though.

damn you gen 1 boys. your truck is sweet. I love the pic with just rims and no tires. did your crossover materialize?

no lift, Firestone 11-15. eyeball measurement.

figures! yeah my truck was short when I bought it with no lift 3 leaf front springs and 31-10.5/R15 on it.

I thought it was huge then. The car before that was a 1980 Fiat spider with 13" tires. I pulled that 4 wheel drive lever every chance I got. Now I wheel it about 4 times a year.

these tires are so old, that is all that is on the sidewall......11-15

Cross steer is done and working fine cept 1 thing. I had some 1.5" 0 rates and 6 inch springs. I just picked up brand new 8" skyjackers today and will swap the 6" and 0 rates out this weekend.
To make a long story even longer :D
My new Drag link (or what ever you call the new bar from the pitman to the knuckle) was hitting my springs when turning, so after a number of threads i just went for it and bought new springs.

I ran an ad in C/L for my old ones and i have a list of peeps waiting for me to get them out, so it really didn't cost me that much.

sounds like a good excuse for a lift and newer tires,:D at least that what I would tell my wife.

Honey this truck is unsafe. the tires are old enough to vote.

I was also watching and responding to your post on skyjackers worth. the new springs look good. mine suck. they flex good. but I am trail only, so I have no idea what they ride like on the road. I ran them for only a few months on the street.

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,
she doesn't know yet.

Hey, how come we dont have a shhhhhhhhh icon?

I literally typed out shhhhhh! in another thread about 5 minutes ago. we do need that.

Isn't that what mods are for.

Im 80" tall with 42's and 3-4" of lift (I think). Thats with 10 PSI in the tires.
At trail pressure (6PSI) its around 78-79" tall.
