Having a little trouble here getting the fuel line and I'm afraid I am going to end up breaking it. Is there a trick to getting them off?

This is on an 87 Jimmy 5.7

Sounds like you are trying to unscrew the adapter that bolts into the injector pod.
You have to hold the adapter with a wrench to keep it from turning.
There is another fitting on the fuel line under the top plate of the TB that screws into the adapter You loosen the lower fitting to take off the fuel lines. Be careful when you pull the line there are little nylon gaskets on the end of the fuel line fitting that may fall out and get lost. Sometimes they stick in the adapter.

Try heating it with a torch...

No, seriously DON'T DO THAT!

This would be the fuel feed and return lines on the back of the TBI? Should just be a 5/8" line wrench for the line nut and a 3/4" to hold the fitting on the back of the injector pod. Spray it with some oil and let it sit for a bit too. There's nothing special about it but can be sticky after 20 years of being attached.

I finally got them off. The low pressure side was seriously on there.

Thanks for the help
