how to get the hard top off my 89' k5?:confused:

i have an 1989 k5 blazer ands i was wondering how do i get the hard top off? i atempted to do this once but i couldnt get it all the way off. there were 2 spots in the back thet i couldnt seen where the hell to get to the bolts. they were covered by the interrior panels. if anyone out there can give me like a step by step to get the top off that would be great, so i can enjoy the southern floridia sun! thanks alot

there are 2 bolts that bolt to the top from the bottom, you have to take of the side panels to get to them, once you take them off DONT put them back on.
Then just take out all the bolts and un plug the wire connector, then the top will just pop right off.

The bolts are Tamper Proof Torx....torx with a post in the middle....I believe they were put there to purposely pizz us off

did all blazers have those? I have a 90 and they have those, did they not want people taking them off or something.
