How to: Install new weather stripping in doors

Just purchased a set of stripping for the front doors, including window channels and vent windows . . . have a box full of rubber, but having trouble figuring out sealers, what stays from the orginal, etc.

Hoping to find some info on how to install. Truck is an 88 Surburban;Outdoorsman.

They way i have done this is by tearing apart one door at a time (so you have a reference)
Vent windows are a REAL PITA... so prepare for battle... and using engine oil as lubricant so you can slide the damn thing into the track.
Everything else is pretty easy. GL
