I was wondering what would need to be done to a TH350 to handle this much power and torque? What products do I need to buy? what it a good convertor? All help is greatly appreciated. Need to get the trans rebuilt and back in the truck.

That sounds like alot of hp for a th350 to me. A good build th350 would handle it for a while I think but a th400 would handle a ton more. I would just find a th400 and then there's no worry about it.

I run a th350 in my 11 sec. street/strip car. Handles it no problem, just a rebuild with shift kit. The weight of a truck is what will kill it.

I know it WILL handle it for a while but not like yout light drag car. you said it, weight is the killer here.

call up tci or hughes, or mikes transmissions. for what all the parts would cost you it might be better to just buy one built from one of these guys.

There are (4) four, T 400's 4wd models (used) for $100 each right now on in SLC area on KSL.com
