Hey guys I bought a truck with a lift already installed. Swapped the lift with a buddy and now I'd like to know an easy way to see how much lift I have. My truck is an 82' k10 with 35's 350/350 combo with a three inch body lift. Any help will be greatly appreciated

So I measure from axle tube to frame mount for bump stop. Then subtract 8.5-9 from that and that gives me total lift. Then add 3" inches to that number to account for body lift. And that will give total lift overall? Yes it's a three incher but I'm also putting in a 12 pt cage fully tied into frame. Trucks gonna be rough and bumpy. But that's why there are suspension seats!!!!

Body lift doesn't affect the axle or frame, so it doesn't matter for that measurement. That only measures suspension lift.

Yeah I knew that just wanted to get the two measurements so I can get total lift. I have ten inch suspension and three body for 13" total lift over stock. Which should fit 37's easy with no trimming

I'm pretty sure you could fit more than that

True but a set of 6 37/14.50/15 toyo m/t's gonna cost upwards of 2000$. And with the build plan I'm using uf I need a bigger tire, one I shouldn't be in that spot(I.e. giant mud hole) or Ill use the 16000 lb winch to get out of it. This'll be a weekend warrior hunting fishing camping mild trail usage truck. Will see a lot of highway time
