Bought these off a guy here in Louisville and I have a few questions I can't find the answer to. ANY help would be great. Are these real Weld wheels and how do I tell? What is the steel ring insert that floats/moves inside the wheel. I assume it is for strength but I want to be sure. These are 15x8 6 lug wheels but I can't find them on Weld's site so I suspect these may be knock offs. How do I determine the correct lug nut to use. My current wheel uses and conical nut but these look like they require a shank type with a flat washer. THANKS!

Weld always marks thier wheels with thier logo. I thought only Micky Thompson wheels had steel insets for lugnut reinforcments? They do look just like weld wheels though....

Weld does mark their wheels but it's inside the tire area.
sometimes they will mark the back of the wheels too, it's pretty small but it will be there.

depth of the hole is the shank length needed. the washer used on the nut pulls it back just right so it will center the rim and not bottom out on the hub flange and keep rim from being loose.
