How to move a Blazer with no axles

I guess I was expecting it to weigh more too. I took some scrap in for $0.10/lb a few weeks ago,and I was guessing my parts truck would be closer to 3k lbs when stripped, that's why I thought that was low.

Man , that was a lot of work . I took one look at your floor and driveway , saw that it needs painted and cleaned anyway , and thought I would of just hooked onto it and drug its ass out the door with the car ( after taking the center pins from the springs as spares ) :thumb:

I had to read this thread a couple of times, I thought you had tossed the top too. I was looking at your canopy side windows wishing I had a set that opens. I noticed a lot of other parts but I understand that you can't keep it all. Regularily I toss out stuff because pretty soon you can't move in your garage. I always wince cause you know sooner or later you are gonna need it, but the garage space is often worth it.

It has already happened. I forgot to pull the pressure switch off the AC dryer. I meant to pull it to replace the bad one on my '91. The first of many parts I'm sure I will wish I had kept. :doah:

Oh well, I needed the garage space so I could actually turn around in there without killing myself. :(

It was less work than I thought to use the dollies, and after the beating the scrap guy applied to my driveway dragging it up on the roll-back - I'm glad I did it. Of course it wouldn't have been as bad if I had pulled the center pins. :doah:

I did keep a bunch of parts - too many probably. :dunno:
