what should i use to redrill the perches on my d60, the pass side mainly?

Use a center punch, mark where you want your new hole and drill. Might want to start with a small drill bit first.

haha well i figured id need to use a drill ;) i was wondering if theres a special bit i should use or what. what kind of bit do you have pat?

most aftermarket center pins are 9/16th and the factory ones are 1/2 inch so you have to buy a 9/16 bit and drill the center pin holes out(or buy1/2inch center pins). i got mine at home depot for $10 and it fits a 1/2 inch drill (its a reduced size on the end)

why didn't you just take a grinder to the head of the center pin?

Regular HHS bit works just fine. Don't forget you'll need to drill or clearance the spring plates for the center pin nut...

I like having the bigger center pin head on there, i really didnt want to weaken the bolt by grinding it. I could have though i just chose to spend the 10 bucks this time around lol
