How to take tint of windows? help quick please

Hehe We don't need mudflaps here in this state. SUV's don't need flaps, trucks do but Blazers and Sub's don't. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Good luck to y'all in the future.

Yeah, been driving around for 6 months with the boggers without getting a ticket. What pissed me off was when he was writing it up a Ford SD went by on 40's, I pointed it out but he didn't care. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Going to rig something up for flaps, get the ticket signed off, and pull them back off as soon as I leave the court parking lot. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I hate mudflaps, they look stupid.

A friend has his set up like a big rig..... He can slide the bar in and tighten it down. When he doen't want them on he just loosens the bolt and pulls them out.....

i just used a can of carb cleaner and wiped of the glue, the problem with mine was there was way too muck glue or something becauce it was all in waves so you really couldent tell what was going on out side, bad when trying to check your blind spot.!!!! brake cleaner works good too! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

The tint on my top's windows was that that was so f'n hard to get off someone should be arrested for making that early stuff. I had to use a dry razor technique, changing razors every few swipes to keep it sharp and avoid scratching windows.

Thats what I'm going to do. I have plenty of parts left over from our trucks to use. I don't know why he needed a bolt? The flap bar slides into a square bracket bolted to the frame and is held in by a cotter key on all of our trucks. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

When he had his on he could adjust the low the mud flaps by adjusting the bolt.... also it made it legal (according to CA State) The mud flaps must be attached to the vehical.... At least thats what he was told.....

He had a piece of square tube at a 75deg angle from fender well. This piece is mounted to the frame. When he wanted to use the mud flaps he just slid the bar in the tube and tighten the bolt to give him the right ground clearence. I'll look and see if I have any pic's of his setup.....
