I was running the hoopty around town for the 1st time last night and noticed I sit about the same height as most F250s.

I got to thiking my K5 clears 33's (more like 30.5") too w/o any rubbing.

But my rear body mounts are sticking through the bed floor. Its 76" at the cab. Whats stock?

There are no blocks or I wouldn't be asking the quesiton.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I suggest posting a pic of the truck from the side on level ground and also a pic of the front springs.

This is what I have on me. I can get more later.

Looks stock. Here's a pic of mine on 31s, same angle, for comparison.

One way to tell right off the bat, look at the front springs. Negative arch, stock. Flat across, appox 2" lift. Positive arch, 4" or greater.

i say your stock height too, I have decent wheel well room with 2" lift and worn out 33s. (measure 31s now)

Cool. Thanks guys. I didn't realize stock height was that high. The front springs have negative arch.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Yeah, these trucks were designed during a time when SUVs were actual trucks and not glorified station wagons. And you could actually take them off road and you didn't need a sticker on the side to say it was OK to do so.

I was impressed with how my K5 wheeled in stock trim with 31s.

unhooking the sway bar on a stock k5 gets 750+ on an rti ramp. they do really well stock. 32" tires fit with good stock springs. no trimming. not very many newer vehicles even come close to that.

i kinda miss when mine was stock. it wheeled really well.
