I've recently been wondering where my truck falls on the modified scale. Is it mild? Is it wild? Or is it just somewhere in the middle? Keep in mind, it has to be street legal!!! I drive this bad boy every day to and from work/college.

I snapped a few CURRENT pics and threw them up in the MEMBERS GALLERY. You can see them on PAGE 23.

I want to what all you guys and gals think! How trick is my rig? Let me know what you think. Here is a quick list of what I have done to it:

* 454/TH400/NP205 (soon to be SM465/NP205)
* Rebuilt D60 / 14BFF w/4.10's with a detroit in the rear
* Dual-piston calipers on the D60 (this thing STOPS!)
* New drive shafts with 1350 joints
* New 4 core radiator w/16" elec fan
* Solid front hubs
* RockStomper crossover
* 36" TSLs
* 6" SkyJacker +3" body
* Rear disc with ACP45's brackets
* ORD steering box brace
* Super Comp ceramic coated headers
* True duals w/cats and FlowMaster BB 70 Series mufflers
* TrailMaster coilover steering stabilizer
* Stainless extended brake lines
* New front windshield and seal! (no more leaks for me!)
* New heater core and blower motor
* New carpet inside
* ALL THIS, with only 44,000 on the body w/absolutely no rust!!!

Still working on:
* ORD 4" shackle flip
* ORD front & rear heavy duty greasable shackles
* The SM465 swap with fixed rear yoke NP205
* I still need matching gears in my axles!!!
* Fuel injection
* custom bumpers
* installing new seats

Phew! Thats all I can think of right now... anybody have anymore suggestions for additions to my rig?

Oh, you must not have read any of my posts under Zakk's thread the other day... I AM AT MOAB 100%!!!

Grim - Flattery will get you EVERYWHERE! Thanks for the kind words.

I am really not trying to inflate my ego here or anything folks! I seriously want to get a pole of what you folks think of my rig! I just want to make sure that all the "blood and sweat", and I do mean "BLOOD AND SWEAT", hasn't been spent just to get me a sub-par trail rig.

Keep the posts comming!

Dont forget a front locker for MOAB. You will deninatly regret it if you dont. Its getting to the textbook chevy. 1 ton axles, big motor, stout transfer case, etc. It will hold up for you.

I hear ya "not trying to inflate my ego here "
It would bee cool if we all could get some kind of rateing system going. I, like many of us here, also have "BLOOD AND SWEAT" in my rig! Heck sence '93 i've been bleeding on my K5.

I woulder how we could set that up, a rateing system that is?
I too think my rig is somewhat "trick"......

Very awsome, I respect the fact that you drive that to school and work everyday. I love the truck but you have enough lift to go with at least 38's. Is that in the future or no? Looking good.

I agree - I could have bigger tires, but I didn't want to ge hacking and wacking the fender wells too much!!!
smile.gif
I guess that trimming the fenders will prolly happen one of these days... but I couldn't do it myself... I would take it somewhere... to one of the member's places to let them help. I couldn't get myself to do it alone.
blush.gif

Besides, I came into those times and rims cheap. I couldn't refuse! Besides, taller tires means more ground clearance from the frame, and I am already over state limits!!!

Your Blazer looks mean,nice rig! Dual piston calipers/ I see that you have Ford D-60 from the king-pins out, have any complaints with that set-up? I have done that on my rig and it worked out great,and I was able to put together 2 60 fronts instead of one with the avalible parts I had.

I think you fall into the pretty trick catagory. Now all you need to do is get the gears to match and see how she does.

I bought the RockStomper crossover becuz it was about $200 less than the other kits I looked at. The only thing I wish I had done, was to get the steering arm that is angled to accept the draglink tierod end at a better angle. The end's alignment isn't bad, but its not a straight as it could be.

Plus Scott at RockStomper is a great guy, and he helped me tremendously during the project. I was actually in the junkyard searching for a new 2WD sector shaft, and had him on the cell phone! Great service...

And on the gears... yea I know.

They just tore up this whole forest near my house, and the whole thing looks nothing but a 4x4 Challenge to me!!! I wish that I had the 4WD so I could go play out there!
