Does anyone know off the top of there head?

I just bought a set of these GM wheels:

I was wondering if the H2's I already have are wider, or if they are the same width?

Martin

looking on ebay they are listed at 17x8.5

Good, I thought they were wider. I think I am going to swap my 315/70R17's onto these new wheels, and try to mount a set of 35x14.50x17" wheels on my H2 rims.

Martin..... using a wheel that doesn't accept a hubcap............. What is the world coming to! :haha:

I already have H2's on my Suburban.

It is too bad that they don't make 17" stamped steel rims though.

I like those wheels.

They look really good mounted on 90s Chevys. Guy in town has a 91 or so sierra with the gmc center caps. I really like it.

Yeah, the H2s are a bit wider. My wife has those on her Yukon. Im secretly hoping she curbs one so i can justify stepping up to some H2s.

Yep, H2 wheels look good on anything..............except H2's :D

I've seen them on quite a few Cummins trucks, from 94's all the way to 12's and they look good on them as well.

Yes, but, he was asking about the width of H2's (he has a set on a sub) in comparison to the wheels he just bought. :D

Got it :dunno: :waytogo:

Yes. I bought a set of take off H2's a year ago or so for $500 with brand new 315/70R17 BFG All Terrains on them. I want to put the All Terrains on these new 5 spoke wheels, and mount some 35x14.50x17" tires I bought onto the Hummer wheels because I thought the H2 wheels were wider than these Chevrolet wheels. I wasn't going to go through that much work though, if they were the same width. Copy?

I read you martin, catch you on the flip flop. Keep the bugs off the glass and the bears off your........bumper. I am 10/10 on the side. Over and out.

How new are those wheels? Didn't GM change their 8 lug pattern to a metric one in recent years?

They're off an '09. GM changed in 2011. I checked first. Of course I only paid for two Prime Rib dinners in exchange for them, so I am not out much either way.

The K2500 wheels were 17x7.5"

I got the K2500 wheels on my Suburban, but I still need to swap the 315/70R17 tires onto them. It looks funny on the 265/70R17's.

Got one tire off of an H2 rim.

First time they have been off since the wheels left GM I am guessing.
