I have the same winch read a bunch of good things on it.

I have never unspooled mine and its 1 1/2 years old hope it works when i really need it.

Seems solid to me, definitely cant see how warn can make 1000$ worth of improvements

Not as heavy as I though it would be either

Hopefully it works, I spooled about 2ft out and this one worked :D

ya a guy in our club has one on his yota and he has worked the piss out of it always snatch blocked but pulls out everything with it and never had an issue. I have plugged mine in and it works so when i really need it I'm glad i have it and hope it saves me. I figured for 300 bux if i use it once or it saves me once i got my money's worth.

I lot of folks would be interested in buying one of those, but are wary that they'll fail at the worst possible time (me included). Post up all the good/bad/ugly details of your experience with it. :deal:

Did this much today

I'll add some tube handles, and possibly dimple dies if I can get it to work out

Winch is finished, I'll get pics soon

I was looking through the spare np205 crap someone gave me and it had a fixed rear yoke, so that is good.

I need to bore out the 205 case 3/8" to fit the th400 input shaft

I also need to buy a th400 input shaft

It looks the stock 2wd shaft with a slip yoke will work with a race track adapter, so I don't have to take the entire tranny apart.

Ok I'm going to use a race track adapter and a th400 output shaft like this.

Do I need the 7.5" input or 10" input?

I'm pretty sure I need the 7.5"

Swapped flywheels today, of course the engine didn't want to bolt to the transmission this time, so I didn't get any accessory's on.

I ordered my headers from JEGS last night and it said it shipped them out at 12:15 AM so I'm hoping they get here Saturday

you look like a member to me...someone must like you or something. ;)

No, it wasn't me.

Rene

I was wondering how I became a member.

I feel like I need to give whoever paid for it $25 now

Anyways, my phone was dead and I forgot the camera, so no pics.

All the accessories are almost on, ps pump, alt, starter, wiring, etc... On Monday I'll prime it and then install the distributor. It would be running already if I didn't have to wait on headers.

I just need spark plugs, install the carb, get nuts for my valve cover studs, install headers, finish up routing the wiring and that about does it.

The engine turns over though :D

Edit: and the fact that my crank pulley needs to go out about 1/4'

dont know who paid. but just do the ck5 pay-it-forward program when you got a spare few bucks and it looks like someone needs it or deservse it.

lots of people helpin out around here latly and makes me feel goot to see there is lots of good people in the world yet. :D

So Fedex decided it would be a good day to deliver to my house late today, so I didn't get the headers till about 4. Usually everything comes early, although I'm not waiting on those parts, funny how that works :haha:

Should be able to fire it up tomorrow and even drive it

I also need to take apart my alternator and change the housing to one with a smaller adjustment bolt

More then once i have opened up the slot for the alt adjustment with a die grinder to get away from that issue. Also have drilled threw where the adjustment bolt goes threw so i could just nut and bolt it.
