Linking the front isn't a priority at the moment. I'm really happy with the 52's for what little use I've used them for. Right now all I need to do on the truck is to regear, and swap in the th400 and then wheel. Of course some other odds and ends like recovery points and rock sliders but no big expensive items.

My main focus is getting a tow rig and a trailer

I'm going to be going away to school after this semester so I probably won't be taking any major projects on for awhile

I'll see, my dad wants to do some buildings in Tennessee. I've got to get my my degree first before I could move though. I have a scholarship now for Florida schools




One bump stop done today. Didn't get fancy and just used regular gussets. At least the wind wasn't bad, that is what sucks about being close to the water. I think I'll take the shock off and paint it then cut the u bolt.

And my dad bondo'd and primed one side today.

I welded in some floor panels in the back also, didn't get pics,nothing special.

I need to some how get something that matches the pin stripping. I think I may have to have a decal place print it out

I think the bump stops work. I didn't bottom out the shocks, but I didn't try too hard either.

hey do you remember when your were looking at chopping your doors, and decided not to b/c of the power windows, what gets in the way, the regulator, or would the window not go all the way down?
 
I believe the motor is mounted in the bottom in the door

I never ended up looking into it because it was too much work.
 
Rock sliders are next up, I'm getting pretty close actually going wheeling, just a gooseneck hitch and trailer away.

First thing to to break? Tranny is gonna go soon, maybe front hubs or stubs, rear d-shaft?

Hopefully I'll find out soon :haha::pimp:

Boring/plain front bumper, I think I may add a stinger to it later on along with other tube work. I need recovery points for if I go to a mudfest on april 1st

I'm going to do some d-ring mounts also, mainly for looks :haha:. I think I'll just make them out of 5/8 and not go through the bumper for the front, in the back I'll order the 1" wide ones and go through the bumper

I need to get some more steel next week to do the rear bumper in a similar fashion and to also fill in the sides and add gussets to the hitch mount

2 1/2 bolts and 1 5/8 bolt per side

I must say that I love this thing!!! I would like to cut the top off a crew cab and put on a burb with the cab back and all.
 
That rig is real close to my vision for a burb, bobbed and all. I love it :waytogo:. Some day the rust will find mine, then its on:hack::saweet::D
