Good thing I bought more tubing :pimp:

I'm going to get some more 1" DOM and 1.5" DOM for bracing

Dude, that turned out damn nice! Excellent work! :thumb:

Posted this in gen 4x4 on pirate, someone pointed out that I didn't grind the mill scale off the tubing. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that.

I don't think it makes the weld that much weaker, I sure hope not

as long as you clean up real well around the spot you are welding it should be fine.it would be clean metal where the welds are but not around them.if you didnt clean up around the welds before hand, they may be a lil weeker but from what i see they look pretty good.as long as you got good penetration, giggity, you shouldnt have a problem.

Yeah the lid is still functional, you can sit on the rear floor right now

Probably a little more work to use it after the rest of the bars are in but not bad

I've got my winch controller in there now

Can't wait to get done with this, I've never been covered in so many cuts and burns before.

cool... are you doing anything at that lower B-hoop section?

Yeah going to continue the X down to the frame, I had to drop the cage today to weld the back side of the B and C pillars

I'll probably angle them forward a bit, there is a body crossmember directly down, so I'll go in front of it, Otherwise foot room and leg room back there would be really limited

So they'll probably forward about 6" from whats there

I think I might have to cut the floors for my front seat, I'm going to order either a PRP tall seat or twisted stitch, the twisted stitch is a bout 40 bucks cheaper and people seem to be real happy with them so I'll probably go that route

I'll just drop the passenger stock seat right now for head room

My roof is practically useless at this point, it's about 5-6" about the rollcage at the center X, it will still for at least a little bit. What is wrong with me :doah:

Rear bench also has to be modded a little to lean back all the way, probably just sawzall through the factory cover into the frame and buy a cheap cover for it

And or see how the BFH works on it , needs to be narrowed a little on the tops of both sides about 2"

I've got about 11 more frame tie ins to make

Going to gusset the front tie in, the closer one doesn't need it since it will tied into the frame from the middle X also

I've got to tie the rear down legs into the frame and get some more of the smaller 1.5" DOM tubing, hopefully they still have some, they had about 200 feet of it last week
