Howto power a TBI setup

So a buddy of mine is going to put a 2003 pickup cab on his 89 Blazer.

Obviously the new harness will not connect to the 89 engine.

We have already torn off the old body and installed the pickup cab onto the frame. Im assuming the TBI setup draws its power from the 6 pin connector off the computer harness that runs across the firewall towards the Hvac. Which of these 6 wires needs power to run the TBI computer?

really guys? i cant be the first one who is trying to power a TBI setup in a truck without a TBI harness can I?

I've consulted the repair manual and 2 wires from that 6 pin harness go to to 10 amp ECU fuses so im fairly sure i can just power those wires but i want to make sure im not missing anything else needed to make it work.

There is a thread called tbi build swap at the 67-72 checy truck forum, under the 73-87 section with all the pin outs and wire diagrams. I tried to post a link, but this site won't let me because i have less than 5 post count on here.

Im not much help, I robbed the entrie fuse block from a tbi truck, installed it on my truck, then literally plugged the tbi engine harness into the back of the fuse block and it started...have no idea what wire is what.

Check in the "injection section" on this fourm there is some really smart guy's there. DaveW and EagleMark are two of them that has helped me alot with wiring.

I cant see that pic, but did find the post mentioned above on the other forum so i have a complete pinout of the old harness. Seems i was right and if i power the 2 wires i mentioned earlier it should work fine.
