Hummer H1's on SRW axles?

The outer ring on an H1 is simply the outer "half" of the rim. The mag runflat or pvc insert goes inside the tire. Once inside the tire, the two pieces of rim are each insert into their perspective side of the tire and bolted together. Once bolted tight the tire beads are pinched between the insert and rim lips.

How exactly do you go about lining up the insert and the bolts on the outer lip once the tire is mouned up? lots of laying the tire on its side and shaking and hoping?

A 5 gal bucket is the ticket. :wink1: Take a look at my pics -

I used a tree stump, but anything that gets it off the ground will make your life eaiser.

The insert is not actually bolted to either the inner or outer shell, so nothing to line up.
