Man, I hope you read the threads that referred to "once bit, twice shy" or something along those lines. And I hope you realize that you just fulfilled the necessary requirements for meeting the "twice" thing. there is a second generation hummer being developed by gm. It looks pretty goofy, i read that it is based on a modified suburban chassis and not the previous hummer. it is being designed to be more acceptable in an urban setting. they will still make the old hummer too.

About the new Hummer. I´ve read in some mag, covering the Detroit showroom thingy, about the Hummer H2. It definitly still looks like a Hummer. It´s a bit smaller, said to run a Vortec HO V8 and, get this, has onboard GPS, DVD-Video and E-mail

Of course it´s only a prototype car and not in production.
I wonder how much you´d have to pay for the E-mail option?

"Hey, if you buy it today, we´ll throw in free E-mail".

Check the BBS at the Military Vehicles Digest site for info on purchasing surplus military Hummers. The Gov. will only officially allow them to be sold as residue (torched into pieces, as mentioned above), but there are a lot that have slipped through the cracks. Hope you have lots of cash.
