Look at these, they are ford dually set ups. Unlike Chevy if you look at it they are bolted to the hub. You can see the ends of the bolts. You can unbolt them and press in studs to remove them from the fords so I don't see why you can't put them on a chevy axle. Provided you can fit them over the 14bolt hub without removing too much material.

Not quite. Those ARE the hubs, not just spacers bolted to the hubs, very much like a chevy... the bolts you are pointing out hold the rotor to the hub, not any spacer to the hub. Machining down the inside to fit over a rear hub wouldn't work too well as they are roughly the same size. Here is a pic of the inside end of a chevy hub (from pirate) to better explain what I'm trying to say.

EDIT: I might have missed the idea? Were you thinking of hub adapters from a 2wd?

John, Good tip. Thanks! I May have to try that, I was shocked at the cost of pvc inserts .
