Hummer Rims

Just wanted to post up a set of H1 rims I picked up this last year, they work awsome, dont know why I didnt get them years ago. A friend had the outer ring machined so it would fit between the 2 inner halves which I use 1 as the inner and 1 as the outer, the outer side was cut and welded as 13" was just a little too wide. they are now 11" wide. The great thing about them is I can run them as 11" or 8" seeing how I have a spare set of front halves.

The last picture is of my buddy, who did the research and built them. Here he was mounting them on his 46" clawswithout the inserts (notice the either).

Why doesn't your bud put some inserts in there? Awesome tires but I don't see the point of going through all the trouble of 2 piece rims and 16.5's if you don't run an insert.

He was using them to mount the tires on his truggy for a photo shoot.
He didn't wheel it with them.

I have inserts in them, and run my tires around 3-5psi.
