Going to be in Huntsville with a friend in about a month.
Plan on getting as much fishing in as work allows.
Anyone reccommend any places around there to fish? The closer the better since it will have to be after work, but willing to drive maybe an hour or so, as long as we've got a bit of daylight left.
I don't keep anything I catch, but looking for bass, crappie, bluegill, and if I do any night fishing, good sized catfish. (or any type of fish common around there that are fun to catch) Won't have a boat, so productive places I can fish from the shore will be best.
I'm willing to walk to get to someplace good, but I expect to be pinched for time after work. Open to wading, last I saw the temperature was 65*, warm enough for shorts.
