huricane turbine rims in 16

i have never seen them other than 15 or 16.5
and i have had 2 sets over the years.
but i kept the good ones from western wheel brand.

I remember seeing a set of 16.5" on a late 70's K20 about 20 years ago. This was the only set I've ever seen in person.

The set I have is 16.5. I also have 15. I've never encountered 16... if they are out there it must be rare.
I have a set of 15" 6 lugs I'll be selling soon. Never knew what brand they were until this post...Thanks!

i have had a couple sets also, but they where appliance brand. also in 15" and 16.5"
There were several brands, they are usually marked on the back of the rim.
western wheel was the big brand and i think best quality of the rim.
i have both styles thay made in 16.5x9.75 wide 8 lug.

My hurricanes are made by WR Grace, IIRC. They are good quality, I think they were the ones optional as dealer-installed too. My K5 is a '77 and the wheels are dated '76, so the story fits.

I`ve had a couple sets of 16.5`s also, have seen some 15`s, but never seen any 16`s. They`d be pretty cool though.
I've got a mint set of 16.5" 8 lugs that are going on my blazer project. Everyone says that they look ugly, but I really like them 
! Only problem is they have a set of kelly tires on them that are like petrified wood. I might have to cut them off they are so hard
