How do you disconnect the line from the hydraulic throw out bearing on a 1997 Chevy K2500? They say it is like an air hose quick disconnect but I can't get it to release. I don't know if I am doing it right. Does anyone know how you get it to release? Here is a picture I found that looks like it. Thanks for any help.

that plastic sleave on the hose side of the fitting needs to be worked in to the bearing side of the fitting.

lots of time there is dust and junk in there. rinse it out good with brake clean. then lube it good with like wd-40/ liquid wrench / somthing along those lines.

and take your time. work it in and be patcient.

thay have a special tool it helps some .

that plastic sleave just releases the balls for the coupler like a air fitting.

Thanks
