.....over 2 years after I bought the first part.:haha:

Now the gay part is that the front diff was full of water from a failed axle seal. Great fun.

I'll put some pics up if I ever remember to take them.

:haha: I can relate. I've had a Hellroaring dual-battery isolator sittin in my garage for almost 3 years waiting to go in, I have a 12-volt-guy winch switch panel that I've had for 2 years and never installed. Yet, in the same 3 year period, the truck has undergone a 52/56 swap, D60/D70 swap, hydro-assist, rear disc brakes on the Dan 70, and a crew-cab swap, and is in the middle of a Th400 to 465/203/205 conversion. It's all about priorities :)

Did the axle seal fail from overheating during the welding of the tabs for the ram?

Yeah, I went into the business and had it out with the hydro guy. Ended up getting the hose I needed.

Finished rebuilding the D60 and installing the hydro assist late last night, but now I have a PS leak. Looks to be coming from the back side of the pump can.

Life has thrown a few big wrenches at me in the last week or so, and my motivation has suffered. I will try to get some pics, but don't hold your breath.
At least I can steer again.

You know my numbers.

Found the leak this afternoon.
Somehow the Chrysler boot that adapts the factory res. up to the remote res. ripped and all the fluid drained out.

I had to remove it, so I am using just the factory pump and res. for now. Need to find a good way to run a remote though, since the York is in the way oi filling the fluid or really even checking it.

Nope. I am using a diff cover kit with the tabs welded to it, so the seal never saw any heat.

I have no idea how it failed, but it was a huge and obvious failure when I was finally able to get the carrier out. Easy fix though.
