Hydro assist ram wear from winter road salt/sand?

Just wondering how well the hydro assist rams hold up to exposure to road salt and sand on daily drivers where roads are salted and sanded in the winter?

I believe my ram has been on my truck for nearly 3 years now, one of which was daily driving through CO road salt. It still turns as strong as it always has, its a 1.5" ram from Surplus Center.
