well i did some wheeling in the woods behind my house the other day (test run) since i finally have 4wd again. im running PSC complete 1.75" hydro-assist setup with the performance pump, and it drives great on the street in 2wd. my axle is a d60 with 4.10's and welded carrier. my issue is that when in 4wd im able to turn fine, but sometimes if i take my hands off the steering wheel (even if im stopped), the tires will go back to the original direction they were pointed. on the last truck i had with hydro-assist, i never experienced this issue, but i also had a detroit up front, not welded. could the issue im describing be caused from the welded carrier, or something else? anyone else experience this?

It could be the front end being bound up and wanting to always go straight like you said

OR

It could be bad internal seals in your steering box that are allowing pressure to leak by.

the box is brand new, all of the PSC stuff has about 300 miles on it. hopefully its not a bad internal seal. would i have to pull the box all apart to tell?

anybody else experience this?
